Shipping policy

At Melita Honey Farm, we do our best to ensure your order reaches you quickly, safely, and affordably. Please read our shipping policy below for details.

 

Australian Orders

  • Free Shipping: Orders over $150 receive free standard postage when mailed to a single Australian address.
  • Orders Under $150: A postage charge (starting from $10) applies. The exact cost is calculated at checkout and depends on the size and weight of your parcel.
  • Express Post: Available for all Australian deliveries. This option will be shown at checkout.
  • Delivery Timeframes:
    • Standard Post: Usually 6–8 business days from dispatch.
    • Express Post: Usually 2–4 business days from dispatch.

 

International Orders

  • All international deliveries are sent via Australia Post’s Standard Airmail service.
  • Shipping costs are based on parcel weight and size, calculated at checkout.
  • For orders over 5kg, please contact us for a custom postage quote.
  • Customs & Import Duties: Customers are responsible for ensuring products are permitted entry into their country. Any import duties, taxes, or fees are the responsibility of the customer.
  • Non-Refundable Postage: International postage fees are non-refundable.

 

Dispatch & Handling

  • Orders are dispatched with Australia Post.
  • As we are located in a regional area, our mail is collected daily at 9am.
  • We generally dispatch orders within two business days of purchase.

 

Tracking & Delivery

  • You will receive tracking information once your parcel has been lodged with Australia Post, allowing you to follow its progress.
  • Australia Post Safe Drop: If possible, parcels will be left in a secure location at your delivery address. If no secure location is available, a card will be left directing you to collect your parcel from your nearest Post Office.

 

Delays

  • While we strive to meet the above delivery timeframes, delays can occasionally occur, particularly during periods of high demand or due to external factors (e.g. COVID-19 disruptions).
  • We appreciate your patience and understanding if your order is delayed.
